Over the past month, the Australian Dental Foundation travelled across many Australian states to make oral healthcare more accessible. With essential health items becoming increasingly difficult to prioritise, our mission was to provide support where it was needed most. Thanks to the incredible response from local communities, we were able to help thousands of Australians by giving away more than 12,000 tubes of toothpaste.
This included over 8,000 tubes handed out in Adelaide at Rundle Mall and Adelaide Railway Station, more than 4,000 across Victoria at Preston Market, Sunshine Marketplace and Dandenong Market, and over 1,000 in Sydney at Revesby Village Centre.
Across all seven community events, thousands of Australians also gained access to other more affordable oral‑health essentials and practical information to support healthier smiles.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by, had a chat, and helped us spread the message that good oral health should be accessible to everyone.
This is only the beginning of the Brush for Good journey. Together, we’re moving Australia toward a decay‑free future, one tooth at a time.
