The Australian Dental Foundation is an independent, national award-winning health promotion charity that has been proactive in delivering on-ground programs and support to help to improve Australia’s oral health outcomes and well-being, one smile at a time.

We address the inequalities which exist in oral health to enable the provision of quality and professional oral care to those who need it most. Since inception, we have supported and improved over 41,500 Australians’ oral health, changing their lives for the better.
Whilst our work has had a significant impact so far, our work isn’t done yet. There is still a considerable need to address the inequalities across Australia and we won’t stop until oral disease harm is dramatically minimised.

We are looking for permanent, full-time/part-time Dentist(s) who will be responsible for providing oral health care and education. The position will primarily work within a mobile setting with opportunities to work within locally based fixed clinics, in conjunction with our dental partners.

Job Description

If successful, you will be responsible for:

  • Diagnose and provide appropriate dental treatment to patients, including dental check-ups, cleanings, fissure seals, x-rays, fillings and simple extractions
  • Educate patients and legal guardians on maintaining good oral health, including oral hygiene instruction and dietary advice
  • Carefully document all medications, diagnoses, treatments and consultations
  • Report to State Operations Manager

ICT Support & Administration Officer
Job Type: Permanent  Full Time
Location: North Adelaide, SA

The Australian Dental Foundation is an independent, national award-winning health promotion charity that has been proactive in delivering on-ground programs and support to help to improve Australia’s oral health outcomes and well-being, one smile at a time.


Main duties:

  • Assist the ICT Manager in providing technical assistance of system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults (Level 1 Support).
  • Liaise with internal staff, our dental practice network and affiliated suppliers, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
  • Assist with creating ICT training resources for staff.
  • Maintain an accurate asset pool of ICT equipment across the group.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and applications.
  • Issue/fault logging and tracking with external ICT service providers as required.
  • Support the roll-out of new hardware, operating systems and applications.
  • Inspect and perform minor repairs as directed by the ICT Manager, and work with external vendors for the repairs to ICT equipment as required.
  • Perform day-to-day hardware and software maintenance as assigned by the ICT Manager.
  • Experience troubleshooting basic network, desktop software, email and printer problems.
  • Work independently and continuously on a task until completion (or referral to ICT Manager or third parties, if appropriate).

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Windows 10 Professional & 11
  • Knowledge of TeamViewer Remote Management Software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016, Office 365, OneDrive and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of WordPress and other online Content Management Systems
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2016 and above
  • Experience in creating training resources

The ideal candidate:

  • At least 18 months’ experience with IT help desk and technical support duties.
  • Tertiary Qualification in IT related sub stream (ideally Certificate 4 or higher).
  • Experience of working in an IT support environment where a combination of face to face and remote resolution management was required is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
