ADFi is proud to have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SA Dental so we can work together to make sure all SA children have access to oral health screening and dental work – preventative and remedial.
ADFi chairperson Dr Greg Miller said the MoU recognised the Foundation as the “third way” between government and private services.
“We know there are thousands of children in SA who are missing out on basic dental services. It’s adding to unnecessary pain, the hospital burden, truancy, loss of productivity, not to mention the future burden of oral disease on the State’s budget,” he said.
“We hope our new partnership with SA Dental will allow both organisations to be more effective through information and resource sharing. It heralds a new era of co-operation in this space.”
