Brahma Lodge Primary School has officially joined the Australian Dental Foundation’s growing network of Smile Friendly Partnership schools, following its recognition in the Smile Friendly Awards late last year.

The northern suburbs school was named the winner of the Smile Friendly School prize, acknowledging its commitment to student wellbeing and oral health education.

The partnership was formally celebrated this month, with students Bellamy, Mhd, Achiech, Ammy and Mikarla pictured alongside Wellbeing Leader Louise McAdam, who was recognised as the school’s “Smile Friendly Hero” for her dedication to promoting healthy habits within the school community.

The Smile Friendly Partnership program supports schools and aged care facilities with free oral health learning resources designed to encourage lifelong healthy habits and improve awareness around preventative dental care.

Australian Dental Foundation spokespersons said the organisation was proud to welcome Brahma Lodge Primary School into the program and applauded the school’s strong focus on student wellbeing.
